What differences will the user -- and the cataloger -- notice in access points formulated according to RDA? This presentation will cover the RDA instructions for identifying persons and corporate bodies, works and expressions, highlighting changes from AACR2. It will include: new data elements used in authority records; the demise of the "rule of three" and the effect on choice of access points; some specific changes relating to access points for parts of the Bible, and the use of "selections" in access points for works; the concept of relationships and the use of relationship designations.
